Our story

Built by someone who
believes in clarity.

Crypducate started with one belief: understanding money and crypto should not require an expensive course, a finance degree, or tolerance for hype.

Why we exist

The problem we're
solving.

The FBI recorded $17 billion in US crypto fraud losses in 2025, up 22% from the year before. 78% of those victims had no idea they were being scammed when it happened. That is not a technology failure. That is an education failure.

At the same time, 49% of people who do not own crypto say the single biggest reason is that they simply do not understand how it works. Not price risk. Not regulation. Just: nobody explained it to them in plain English before they felt ready to try.

Exchange academies cannot fill this gap because they earn when you trade. General AI tools have no curriculum, no memory, and no stake in whether you actually learn. The beginner friendly, unbiased, adaptive crypto tutor did not exist. That is where Crypducate lives.

John Park
Founder of Crypducate · New York City · CMU Statistics

John started Crypducate after watching too many people: friends, family, people in his community: lose money in crypto not because they were greedy, but because nobody ever taught them the basics before they jumped in.

Before this, John spent years turning messy, complex data into decisions people can actually use, leading analytics on $50M+ in media spend at Publicis and building data pipelines from scratch at Horizon. The thread through all of it: making something complicated legible to the people who need to act on it.

That is what Sato does for crypto. Not a summary. Not a glossary. A tutor that figures out where you are and builds from there. Named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the person who believed financial tools should belong to everyone. We think education should too.

Meet Sato

The dog who stays patient.

Sato never treats crypto as something scary. To him it is just something that has not been explained well yet. So he never sighs when you ask the same thing twice, never makes you feel behind for not knowing, and never tells you which coin to buy. The only moment he is chasing is the one where it finally clicks for you.

There is a reason Sato is a dog. A dog does not judge you. It does not care how much you already know. It just stays, and it waits, patiently. We thought that was exactly what someone learning crypto for the first time needs most.

No hype. No pressure. Just Sato, one step at a time.

Most AI products bolt a language model onto a problem and call it done. Xi's entire research career has been about what happens when you do that carelessly, and how to build something that actually knows what it knows.

Xi is a PhD researcher at Johns Hopkins, published at the top machine-learning venues and featured by Microsoft Research. His work gives language models a knowledge base they can query accurately, and makes AI that tells you when it is not sure instead of confidently getting it wrong.

That matters for Sato. A crypto tutor that hallucinates answers is worse than useless. Xi's research shapes how Sato is built: grounded in a real curriculum, calibrated about what it knows, and designed to be trustworthy rather than just fluent.

Michael turns architecture into a working product. At Dealmaker he built agentic AI workflows and ML scoring models and architected data warehouses from scratch; at Zenith he built API pipelines that doubled system performance.

Xi decides how Sato should think. Michael decides how Sato actually runs. He owns the infrastructure, the data pipelines, and the engineering that makes everything work in production. When Sato responds in three seconds instead of ten, or when Scam Shield handles a thousand checks without breaking, that is Michael's work.
